About

I did undergraduate study at the University of Pittsburgh, where my interests expanded from political philosophy, first into ethics generally (particularly metaethics) and the free will debate and ultimately into a broad range of questions in metaphysics, epistemology, and more.

I earned an MA from Florida State in 2016, then completed my PhD at Leeds in 2021, writing on the metaphysics of powers and causation – with an eye toward the metaphysics of human agency – under the supervision of Helen Steward and Léa Salje.

After short teaching stints at Lancaster and Birkbeck, I began working as Lecturer in Philosophy at Bristol in September 2023.

Outside of academia, I take lots of pictures and play softball.
